A circle of Women

I pinned this image a long time ago to one of my boards, and it keeps coming back to me.  I love it and every time it comes back to me, I think HELL YES!  I am so lucky to be surrounded by a beautiful tribe of ladies who I love with every fiber of my being. They are my soul sisters.   I was thinking though, how many beautiful souls that are out there that I am connected to even though we have never met.  All the amazing women I have met through blogging or the Apothecary Circle.  These amazing women  hold me up and encourage me even they probably don't know they are.  Could you imagine how amazing this world would be if all the women helped each other instead of the pettiness, jealousy, and backstabbing we all so often see?  I don't know if it is just me, but lately it feels like the world is finding a new sense of kindness when it comes to groups of women.   I hope to hell this is a trend that is really going to start showing itself more.  I am telling you, we would be a force to be reckoned with!

  2. Yes! I am so glad I am not the only one who feels that way! Thru life experience I encounter so many fake ones!!! I did not got close to them because I got hurt when I was young. Betrayal can push you away!

    1. Nice to meet you too Alicia! I was the same way, betrayed by a best friends many moons ago and it almost shut me off to letting new people into my heart. I am so glad I left myself open to receive the love I have been lucky enough to get.

  4. True! I think my virtual circle of women is currently bigger and more active in holding one another than my one in the physical world ... but I am working on that by starting a regular mama's lunch at mine .... homemade soup, bread, chat for mamas and play for kiddos, I realised if the community I wanted wasn't there I'd have to make one! Much love X

    1. I love that you are starting your own little community out there. Sometimes we have to be the ones who take the reigns and make things happen. I love that you have become part of my virtual circle! xo

  5. This is beautiful. <3 I have my own. Jen, who is a beautiful and feminine soul, my best friend, my soul mate, my wife. She is transgender, MTF. Some circles believe that "real women" are women who have periods, etc. But I don't believe that. Jen is one of the most feminine souls I have ever met. Outside of her, I have my sisters and many amazing friends. They are... well, amazing!

  6. Love this. It's been sooo long (too long) since I've felt connected to an uplifting circle of women (in real life). I love that at least the online realm of this circle seems to cut through a lot of airs that people you meet in real life initially can put on. I love the AC for that reason, although I wish I had more time to invest in it. Love this quote though.

  7. YES! This is a good one! It's such a beautiful thing to have a strong group of women to grow with. And I think I speak for all of us, we are so lucky to have YOU in our tribe.
